Scope of Work:

Al-Masila successfully executed comprehensive well site piping, electrical and instrumentation (E&I) works for the KHA 1-85 well site, including the installation of a flow line of approximately 6 km and associated mechanical, civil, and electrical systems to support safe well production and operation.

Key Activities:

• Conducting site survey and engineering surveys in coordination with PMC supervision.
• Preparation and submission of isometric drawings, equipment layouts, and flow line alignment sheets for engineering approval.
• Fabrication and welding of a flow line approximately 6 km long using API 5L X60 piping material.
• Construction of Right of Way (ROW) for the flow line including grading, backfilling, watering, and compaction.
• Supply and installation of pipeline sleepers and structural supports along the pipeline route.
• Construction of anchor blocks, lateral blocks, and expansion loops for pipeline stability.
• Construction of road crossings using reinforced concrete U-blocks with associated civil works.
• Fabrication of temporary pig traps and execution of pigging, hydro testing, flushing, and cleaning of the flow line.
• Fabrication and installation of tie-in spools and pig receiver system for pipeline operations.
• Installation of well site piping systems including fabrication of piping spools between wellhead modules and pig launcher.
• Installation of mechanical equipment and utilities such as diesel generator, diesel tank, air compressor, VSD systems, and control panels.
• Execution of Electrical & Instrumentation works, including cable laying, glanding, termination, and installation of earthing systems.
• Integration of Emergency Shutdown (ESD) system according to cause & effect diagrams and ESD logic.
• Pre-commissioning activities including instrument calibration, leak testing, insulation testing, hydro testing, and air blowing.
• Surface preparation, sandblasting, and protective painting for well site piping systems.
• Fabrication and installation of structural platforms for the wellhead Christmas tree and crossover structures.
• Assistance during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up operations of the well.
